Professional Growing Information These little plants are beautiful, and I wish they were perennials b/c that's how pretty they are. They get super big, wide and cascade. I have mine in planters and the one planter gets barely any sun and they thrive!!! They are quite large by the end of the summer and still going strong into the fall.

Maintenance Notes:Diamond Frost might look delicate and frilly, but nothing could be further from the truth. Diamond Frost is actually pretty much tough as nails. She has performed well from North to South and coast to coast. While she does best in sun or part sun conditions, she does surprisingly well in shady conditions also. As you might suspect she is great in mixed containers and containers by herself, but don't discount her excellent performance when planted in the landscape. She needs little to no supplemental water and is extremely heat tolerant. She doesn't need to be deadheaded and shouldn't need much in the way of fertilizer either - she's a very self-sufficient gal. While you shouldn't need to trim her back, you can trim her back at anytime and she will just keep doing her thing. Diamond Frost is one of my all-time favorite plants.

Some shedding of flowers and leaves may occur indoors depending on light levels and watering.
Plants in the spurge family often will bleed a milky, white sap if cut or wounded. This sap is a form of latex. Most people will have little or no reaction due to sap exposure from the euphorbia that Proven Winners sells. However, people with sensitive skin or latex allergies should be cautious when handling euphorbia. Poinsettias are in this same family. If you have ever experienced a skin irritation due to contact with poinsettias you should be cautious with all euphorbia.
An application of fertilizer or compost on garden beds and regular fertilization of plants in pots will help ensure the best possible performance.
Diamond Frost is like your friend who gets along with everyone she meets—it combines easily with many kinds of plants, weaving its wiry stems in and out, poking its single, airy white flowers throughout the combination. Often imitated but never equaled!

But as I grew in more containers and landscapes across North America, you praised my mounded habit, and how well I tolerate heat and drought. My versatility both as a single and in combinations. Others spoke of how easy I am to grow. In letters you wrote of my ability to stay beautiful without deadheading. And I was deeply touched by your appreciation of my deer resistance.
Without you, I would still be just another plant in the unforgiving world of commercial horticulture. If I could, I would keep you with me in the full to part shade forever.

I bought 2 itty bitty 2” pots from Canadian Tire for $2.99 to try out in my little welcome planter out front & I am amazed with this plant. I paired it with some new Guinea impatiens & I cannot believe how gorgeous this little plant is. It gives a light airy delicate feel to any planter it’s added too. The planter is facing North on my entry way steps & only gets about an hour or two of morning light & somehow it has still performed beautifully. It has roughly grown 3-4 times it’s size & ive done nothing to it other then water it here & there with one or two applications of fertilizer, it’s pretty much maintenance free! I wish it came in other colours lol. Regardless I will continue to repurchase this plant in the coming spring/summer. I hope more Canadian (specifically the province AB) retailers will bring in more PW at $2.99 pots of all PW annual flowers, it’s so hard to find them especially for that price!

My Mom and I just discovered this plant. WE LOVE IT!!! It did very well in full sun. I watered daily, but if I forgot it was very gracious. It did not do well in the shade, well the flowers did not bloom well, foliage great. I will have this every year if possible.

One of my favorite annuals. Requires no maintenance except watering, and even survives well with neglectful watering! Have to be careful not to over water - I have a pot within a ceramic pot on a patio table and did not realize that rain water had collected in the bottom of the ceramic pot. Leaves were starting to turn yellow. However.... rabbits seem to love them. Ate them to the ground last year. This year, even though I sprayed thoroughly with Liquid Fence as soon as I planted them, the rabbit(s) devoured them the next day. So now I can only use in window boxes or containers. I find it strange that they are said to be deer resistant, but certainly are not also rabbit resistant?!

This will be a fav for years to come with me! Such a lovely whispy texture to a container! Purchased 3 and love them! 1 paired in container with white petunias and an annual grass, and the other 2 were in matching concrete urns with Artemisia, Midnight Rose Coral Bells, Blue Delphinium, Dusty Miller, and dichondra silver falls. It holds it own in both settings and makes a beautiful touch. Look forward to seeing how large it will grow this season and planting again next year! Zone 7b, 2 in full sun, 1 in partial sun (afternoon sun only).

They're sweet, dainty, and easy to grow. They seem to prefer sun until about noon or so. Unfortunately, some years they are not easy to find anywhere. They enjoy the company of impatiens.

Been buying these for 3 years now and never disappointed. They work best for me as accent plants as fillers, like baby's breath. Despite their delicate appearance they are tough plants and hold up very well to low water levels. Mine have never come close to 24" tall but they mound well, play nicely with others in the pot and maintain great shape and structure. It is a very unique plant that I have grown to love. Highly recommend but looks best potted with at least 2 other plants.

Deer love, love this plant. Have tried it in pots several times, even waiting a couple of years in between. As soon as deer discover it, they eat it down to the ground every time.
