Maintenance Notes:

Heuchera are generally low maintenance plants.  However, because they are semi-evergreen you may notice brown foliage on your plants in the spring.  While you can trim them back as necessary, we suggest that you wait and allow the new growth to emerge in the spring and then after the new foliage has fully expanded, check to see if any of the brown or damaged foliage can be seen.  Remove the visible foliage as necessary.  This minimizes the amount of work you have to do, while keeping the plants tidy.

Heuchera require well-drained soil to be happy long term.
