Please plan on joining the IPBC group in Portland, OR for 2 days of lectures focused on helping the independent plant breeder succeed in the commercial world. Then join your colleagues for a tour day visiting world famous Terra Nova Nurseries, the wonderful Portland Japanese Garden, Cistus Nursery, and the fantastic Lan Su Chinese Garden, we’ll then head over for a Chinese banquet in Chinatown. General sessions include basics of breeding and advanced breeding techniques, marketing trends and partnerships, and lots of opportunity to interact with other plant breeders as well as industry new product representatives and genetics experts from around the US and Europe. More details will follow, but if you or someone you know is interested in not just how to breed plants, but also how to integrate with the horticultural industry – please pass along the link to this site and stay tuned!
