We Grow Smiles® is a simple plant give away campaign is less expensive than running and ad and has a greater return. It’s a great way to interact with new and existing customers that creates goodwill, all while promoting your business. Just order the We Grow Smiles™ Campaign kit, tag 100 Proven Winners® plants in the white branded container, and hit the pavement – and you could meet 100 new customers.
1. Choosing a Location
While you can certainly host the event at your garden center, by choosing a different location you can increase your exposure to potential new customers. Select a location with high traffic, such as a local coffee house, school sporting event or community festivals (whatever location you choose, be certain to get permission from local officials or neighboring businesses). In the event of rain, having an alternative date is advisable.
2. Order your campaign kit.
Get your We Grow Smiles™ campaign kit online. Order your kit with blank cards or plan ahead and get custom cards imprinted. Allow 4 weeks for your custom cards to be delivered in your We Grow Smiles Campaign Kit. Be sure to tell us what you want your custom card to say by including the copy in the customer comments field online. To include your logo please send it via email
The experts at Proven Winners® are available to assist with some of the public relations of your campaign, and will follow-up afterwards to hear about the success of the event. In addition, imprintable gift cards are available to distribute with your plants (use the message to promote a special sale, as an open house invitation, as a percentage off a future purchase, etc.) for a nominal charge.
On behalf of the participating Garden Center hosting a Smile Campaign Proven Winners® will:
- Contact your media person and talk to them about promoting the event, if you have no media contacts we'll check our database and contact our representatives on your behalf.
- We'll search our database for garden writes in you region and contact them with the details of your event.
- We'll post your event on the Proven Winners® website, Facebook page and send out tweets on Twitter.
