Maintenance Notes:

They begin blooming in early spring. Deadheading won't keep them blooming longer. However, removing the flower stems once the plant has finished blooming will keep them looking tidier. Plants can be divided in spring or fall for personal use.

An application of fertilizer or compost on garden beds and regular fertilization of plants in pots will help ensure the best possible performance.

  • I needed a plant for 3 12x24 " pots along a small deck to keep people from falling the 2 1/2 feet to the terrace below. There is only morning sun there, and I was getting tired of replanting annuals each year. So, I chose the Dolce Creme Brulee Heuchera which is a perennial and found one filled each pot and is a 4 season plant. The leaf colors are wonderful and add a bright touch. A trim back in the Spring is all it needs.

Outstanding My favorite plant, I recommend to others all the time and explain the reasons why I like it so much.

  • I have only one plant and will divide it this year since it is now 4 years old. It has remained attractive all winter in zone 7. I read where the leaves can be eaten as salad but have not verified the information. Recommend highly.

  • I keep these in a pot by themselves, so I can move them around near other pots that need a bit of color punch. I do notice that they fade out a bit in the full heat of august and do a little better with a bit of afternoon shade.

Above Average Superior performance, among my favorites, would recommend to others.
