Kerry Ann Mendez is dedicated to teaching the art of low-maintenance perennial gardening. As a garden consultant, designer, author and lecturer, she focuses on time-saving gardening techniques, workhorse plants and sustainable practices. Kerry Ann is a self-taught gardener of 25 years and describes herself as a “passionate perennialist”.
Mendez’s work has been published in numerous gardening magazines and she has appeared on national and local television. Her webinars attract thousands from around the country and her books are top sellers. Her newest book, The Right-Size Garden, provides solutions for aging and time-pressed gardeners.
Mendez was awarded the 2014 Gold Medal from the Massachusetts Horticultural Society, an honorary medal presented to outstanding horticulturalists, plant innovators, and those who have made significant contributions to the enjoyment and appreciation of plants and the environment.
