Maintenance Notes:Tolerant of most soils except extremely wet conditions. pH adaptable. Withstands heavy pruning. Pruning can be done any time, but is best done in late fall. The occasional green branch can be pruned away at any time. Prefers medium moisture. Fertilize in early spring by applying a slow release fertilizer specialized for trees and shrubs. Follow the label for recommended rate of application.

Brighter, bolder year-round color!
Several years ago, Dutch nurseryman Gus Bolwijn made a remarkable find. In a batch of Euonymus 'Sunspot' liners, he noticed one branch with exceedingly attractive leaves. Unlike 'Sunspot', with its small yellow spot, this branch displayed a big splash of pleasing yellow and a thin dark green margin.
After years of testing, it proved to be a beautiful, neat growing shrub with superb hardiness and sunburn resistance. Blondy is a colorful evergreen that looks great all year long. It stays nicely mounded and doesn't sprawl like other euonymus.

Blondy is such a great variegated colour! and has a nice compact growth habit compared to my other euonymus. Perfect for smaller spots where you don't want much spreading. :)

I planted this plant last fall in a north flowerbed, decided this fall to move it to a west flowerbed. The roots were deep, so I changed my mind and just moved my hosta instead, and ended up moving it just a little bit in the same bed. It came through with flying colors. This plant is great, it withstood the shock of almost be replanted. Love it
