    Maintenance Notes:

This hydrangea blooms on both old and new wood. Pruning is generally not needed, but it may be trimmed lightly after the first flowering. Best in moist, well-drained soils. Supplemental moisture may be needed in very hot or dry conditions. Fertilize in spring with a controlled release fertilizer. Add aluminum sulfate to the soil to encourage blue flower color.

    Vibrant lacecap blooms every summer!

The Let's Dance Hydrangea series represents the next generation of reblooming hydrangeas. Don't settle for dull drab Hydrangea flowers - this series kicks up the quality with vivid flower coloration and attractive, glossy foliage. The Let's Dance series bloom on both new wood and old delivering seasons of flowers and lots of wow.

A real workhorse, Let's Dance Starlight is the first reblooming lace-cap hydrangea, and has exceptionally rich, vibrant flower color. It's an elegant addition to any garden.

    • This is the third year this hydrangea has been in my garden. It performs reliably every year with no die back, even though this past winter was very hard on my shrubs that have had no winter problems for decades. The biggest problem has been the height. It is advertised as a minimum of 2 feet. The first 2 years it was only 12 - 15 inches high. It is surrounded by purple palace heuchera and it was never taller that the heuchera for the first 2 years. This spring brought record rainfall and cool weather. For about 6 weeks there were rains of 4-6 hours every other day (I believe there was 30" of rain in 1 month.). The shrub is 24" tall now. I will see in the future if it will remain a 12-15 inch shrub with normal rainfall. The size has been my only complaint. The flowers are as advertised.

    • A fantastic addition to any garden and as an added bonus, it is very low maintenance even for a novice gardener. I have 2 planted on each side of my entryway and both are vibrant in color and quite hardy. I nearly lost both in an early Maine frost last year, I cut them back almost completely (I did not touch anything with green) this spring and they are doing wonderfully! I am most impressed with the colors, one shrub has both pink and purple (not blue) flowers and I did absolutely nothing to the soil, the other shrub is mostly pink with one purple flower. Absolutely stunning and I highly recommend these plants to anyone looking for something a little different in the hydrangea family. I will purchase more next season when I expand my perennial garden.

    • This is a gorgeous plant. I constantly had blooms on it all summer long. Lost mine to a surprise late spring frost after it had already started budding. I like it so much that I'm ordering a replacement that I will now be growing in a large pot to bring into the garage over winter.

    • This is a very hardy hygrandea which survived fall pruned to the ground in it's first year by a helpful husband. Large leaves are verdant, lush green. Pink flowers which will rebloom from large flower heads; these do not have a typical full, fluffy hydrangea flower cap, just sprinkles of blooms on the heads all summer into fall.
