What if your round pots don’t fit in my current production schemes?

We understand that this is going to be a change to your production plans, and it may pose some challenges, but at the same time, most growers are using many different container and tray configurations regularly, from flats and packs to four-inch and even larger materials. The Proven Winners Classic^™ and Grande^™ containers are available in an industry standard 10 by 20 inch carrying tray, and while this may require some changes in production, we've seen that the money made on the sales end more than makes up for it. We have multiple container and tray options and our containers will also fit into many other manufacturers' trays.

I use a square pot. Why isn’t Proven Winners offering a square pot?

We understand that and we researched square pots quite a bit, but at the end of the day, the industry container suppliers, they're just not able to print graphics on a square container. And our goal with the Complete Package program is to make it easier for gardeners to find Proven Winners' plants, so those graphics on the container are necessary.

What if I can grow a plant better in a 4.5” square pot?

We are confident that growers will be able to grow a fantastic-looking plant in the Proven Winners branded container as millions of high quality plants have been grown in Proven Winners packaging for nearly 20 years. So what I'd recommend is they might want to consider the 4.5 inch Classic^™ container or the 1.0 QT container as alternatives to the 4.5 square container that they've been using.

What if I like growing in a container with more soil volume?

If you need a larger container than our Grande container which has a volume of roughly 1.6 pints - the 1.0 QT container has a volume of 1.94 pints and might be an option for you. We’ve found that reducing soil volume acts as a natural growth regulator – which is why our aggressive plants tend to grow better in a round pot compared to a square pot.
