24-12-17 (Proven Winners® Premium Water Soluble Plant Food)
Use Proven Winners Premium Water Soluble Plant Food in pots, containers, hanging baskets, combination plantings, window boxes, or in your garden landscape. You can mix and apply the product yourself, or apply using a hose-end spray unit (see application directions from the hose-end spray manufacturer). Use the suggested applications rates below to determine the right amount to apply for the beautiful results every gardener dreams of.
Use Only As Directed
- For Outdoor Use: In a clean pail or watering can, mix ONE TABLESPOON of Proven Winners Premium Soluble Plant Food with ONE gallon of water (for your convenience, a measuring scoop is enclosed in this package). Do not apply this fertilizer before adding to water. Create a solution of fertilizer plus water before using.
For Indoor Use: Mix ½ TEASPOON of Proven Winners Premium Soluble Plant Food with ONE gallon of water. - Apply a liberal amount of the plant food solution to the base of the plant until the soil around and under the plant is soaked.
- Repeat the application as recommended below throughout the growing season.
Apply every third watering using the suggested application rate.

For Garden Landscape Use: Apply 1 to 2 gallons of solution per 10 square feet of area every 7 to 14 days.

Use the suggested application rates below to determine the right amount of Proven Winners Premium Continuoues Release Plant Food to apply to your containers or in your garden landscape.
Potted & Container Plants: When planting into the following containers sizes, use the following rates and water in thoroughly. Reapply after six months.

Planting into the Landscape
New Transplants: Use the rates from the chart above that corresponds with the container size you are planting. With container or cell pack sizes smaller than 4 inch, use a rate of 1/2 teaspoons per plant. After planting sprinkle the plant food evenly around the plants. Or before planting, mix the plant food with soil in the planting hole. Water in thoroughly. Repeat after 6 months.
Established Plants: Apply 8 tablespoons of plant food for every 5 ft. x 5 ft. area of garden. Apply evenly on the soil surface. Or, work plant food into the top 2 to 3 inches of soil. Water in thoroughly. Reapply after 6 months.
