Angelonia are heat-loving plants that will grow most vigorously and bloom best when the heat is on. They are plants best planted in mid-spring or later, since they won't really grow until the temperatures warm up. Angelonia will tolerate wet feet and a fair amount of drought. The plants are easy care with no deadheading needed. A bit of fertilizer or some compost in a garden bed is usually all that is needed for these plants to thrive. Due to their heat-loving nature they are one of the plants that can be planted even during the heat of mid-summer.

Don't forget that Angelface are great long lasting cut flowers with a slight grape soda fragrance. Try some in a flower arrangement this year and see for yourself!

An application of fertilizer or compost on garden beds and regular fertilization of plants in pots will help ensure the best possible performance.

A great series for Proven Winners, these Angelonias have been bred for flower performance as well as a great upright branching growth habit. Large flower size and garden performance make these an exciting addition to our summer flowering collection. Angelonias in containers make full blooming specimen plants that are great for the patio and yard. Planted in the landscape, Angelonias will WOW gardeners with their beautiful shape and structure and will flower well into the fall. The flower stems also are great for making vase arrangements providing enjoyment for 10 days or more.

AngelFace Angelonia is one of Dr. Rick Schoellhorn's top 10 favorites for Florida.
Angelonia are often called Summer snapdragons for good reason as they love the heat and will flower most all summer, though they often take a break in the heat if high summer. No deadheading required, huge blooms of white, pink and blue tones. Easy and rewarding, just keep up
    regular fertilizing and watering.

    • Fabulous This plant flowers and flowers through the heat. It survived the Dallas heat and drought and lasted until the first freeze. I tried it for the first time this year, now it will be a must to plant every year.

    • Absolutely beautiful all summer long, and still blooming into Sept - only fertililzed twice, but did water every day when it was hot. I'm so glad I found this plant!

    • This is a no fail plant. I have planted it a number of times and have never had problems. It usually goes in urns that sit on my concrete driveway. Even during the hottest days of summer it thrives and bounces right back if I forget to water.

    • This was a free plant you sent me. Bloomed heavily all summer. Didn't get leggy. Survived the first frost here. A great white plant. Thank you so much!

    • I am thrilled with these plants, but they don't seem to survive our mild winters. I live in Cape Town - South Africa. I would like some advise. N.B. Califonia is not where I live. I only selected this because I could not continue with this mail
