    • This is my favorite astilbe because it just keeps on giving even after the pretty flowers. The foliage is amazing with the serrated edging in the beautiful blue green hue and red stems . However ... this Autumn the foliage became absolutely stunning .. the body of the leaves were yellow gold but the edging was a fiery orange red. I had not seen this transition before and I have had two of them for a few years now .. it is a show stopper in my garden this year ! I wish I could attach a photo some how because it is amazing !
