Goldilocks Rocks® Bidens ferulifolia 'BID 719' USPP 22,271, Can 4,377
  • This plant is easy, easy, easy….a drought tolerant annual that is covered all summer and fall with bright yellow, daisy-like flowers. If you like the flowers on cosmos and coreopsis, and appreciate the zing that a golden yellow flower brings to the garden, you’ll love Goldilocks Rocks.

No deadheading, it’s fine in the heat, and each plant makes a mound of flowers that’s about 12” tall and 14” wide. Best of all, this plant plays well with others. The original Goldilocks might have taken over the three bears beds and presumptuously eaten their porridge, but this namesake plant coexists beautifully in containers and gardens.

Outstanding My favorite plant, I recommend to others all the time and explain the reasons why I like it so much.

  • Very beautiful plant, start a little slow (planted end of April) then it will boost in yellow flowers. Very shine and bright colors. Here in Italy it's called "Rock Star" and I'm going to buy for sure another batch next year, if available in our garden stores.
I've planted 4 small plants in a 20x12x12'' container, maybe it was better two more, but after 1 month it's all covered in yellow.
