My first PW order. Thought it was a little expensive but has developed VERY well and looks GREAT! No regrets. Used in large container w/calla lily and caladium which are just coming up.

This semi-evergreen plant performs best in moist, rich, acidic soil with a half day of sun. This variety does not do well in full shade. It can be grown in shallow water 2-3 in. deep. Possibly hardier than zone 5 with winter protection (mulch and protect from windy areas) If plants look tattered in early spring, cut them back to the ground. The new foliage will quickly fill back in.'Bowles Golden' Carex elata
