I planted three along the Parkway boulevard with full sun and part shade. It loves this site. What a beautiful plant! Highly recommend.

I planted this during an exceptionally hot May in Albuquerque, NM, and it adapted easily to its new location. It is on the north side of my house in a location that receives 6-7 hours of hot sun during the summer. The soil is a mix of sand and clay, and I mixed in 50% cotton burr compost in the hole I dug for this plant to improve drainage. Produces cheerful flowers constantly with deadheading, does not wilt if you forget to water it for a few days, and should winter well in zone 7. A very sturdy, colorful little plant! Highly recommended.

Fabulous plant... Fabulous bloomer! Requires little attention after initial planting. Had them in a full sun location. I'm going to buy more of these. I'll try them next in part sun under trees. It may become my perennial pop of colour go-to in my low maintenance garden.
