A beautybush beyond compare, Jolene Jolene puts on the flower show you expect from a kolkwitzia, but at half the conventional size, so you can actually fit it into a residential landscape, or even a garden. Maintenance Notes:Prefers well-drained soils but fairly adaptable to other soil types. If necessary, prune immediately after the spring bloom. It blooms on old wood and has a naturally arching habit that looks best unpruned. Best flowering occurs in full sun, but light shade isn't harmful, particularly in warmer climates.
If desired, fertilize in early spring with a granular fertilizer formulated for woody plants, like a rose fertilizer.
