Planted 6" potted plants in ground -- did fine until extreme heat (Used Osmocote when planting, none since then. This garden is by the road about "96" steps from the house -- had to drag LONG hose often this summer to keep plants going. I just pulled them up -- still blooming, but the stems/leaves brown at base, mostly (apparently needed more water) DID NOT DO WELL in 17" hanging baskets that face west and south. I watered often, planted with Osmocote, later used 1/2 liquid bloom booster.
