Treat with broad-spectrum fungicide at transplant. Scout for disease and pest issues regularly and treat as needed. Good sanitation is recommended.
Good sanitation practices include keeping greenhouses clean at all times, eliminating weeds and debris, disinfecting equipment in greenhouses as often as possible and keeping hose ends off of the greenhouse floor. Good water management practices are critical for good, healthy plant growth.
Grower Tips:
-optimum temperature for sprouting tubers is above 75 F.
-Must keep temperature, soil and air, above 65 F to grow and finish.
-Temperatures below 60 F will cause stunting.
-Best in larger pots, like a Royale (1 gallon)
-Extremely versatile plant, will grow in full to full shade.
