Proven Winners sought Mark Broxon to aggressively bring its business and marketing to the next level. His responsibilities include leading the development of the Proven Winners brand, long term strategic planning, improving customer communications, vendor management, trademark/patent management, and quality assurance.
Broxon's background includes over 15 years experience in horticulture and agriculture markets with a strong sales and marketing focus, including product development, sales force management, strategic planning, advertising, and promotion. Prior to joining Proven Winners, Broxon was principal with Growth Partners, a consulting firm providing marketing and management services for companies in the agriculture and horticulture industries. As lead principal, he was responsible for working with client companies in the areas of business strategy, planning, market research, acquisition search and analysis, and capital plans.
Previously, he was a regional and general manager for The Scotts Company, the leading producer of specialty products for the professional and lawn and garden markets. There he maintained responsibility for sales and sales management, marketing, technical and customer service functions, as well as business strategy development and execution.
