Northwest

Rebecca Sweet

I blame California’s mild climate for my full-blown gardening addiction.  Not only am I a garden designer, but I’m the co-author of Garden Up!, a columnist with Horticulture magazine, a freelance garden writer and a national gardening speaker. If you’re an addict too, you can join my support group here and at harmonyinthegarden.com.

Northeast

Laura Mathews

I'm a just plain soil-addicted gardener. Back a couple of years, I gardened every minute I could chisel away from my career as photo editor for The Harrisburg Patriot-News. Since then, I've morphed into a garden writer, garden designer, garden photographer and garden blogger. When I'm not researching plants and writing about them, I have a grand time replacing my lawn with plants and chickens all over my in-town urban yard.

Southwest

Jenny Peterson

I'm a garden designer and writer living in Austin, Texas. I love designing small spaces, but this coming year I'm looking forward to moving from a balcony garden to an entire acre! Vegetable gardens and chickens, here I come!

Midwest

Amanda Thomsen

I'm a landscaper by day and blogger by night. My blog, Kiss My Aster!, has been read by many people that are not immediately related to me. I currently write a blog for Fine Gardening’s web site. I am half of the stand-up comedy team behind the Good Enough Gardening podcast and also I'm one of the co-authors of 2010’s Grocery Gardening. I live in a pup tent in the parking lot of the Chicago Botanic Garden with my family.

Eastern Canada

Greetings from Nova Scotia, Canada! I'm a freelance writer and the host of the radio program, The Weekend Gardener with Niki Jabbour. I write for magazines and newspapers across North America on a wide variety of gardening topics and am also the author of The Year Round Vegetable Gardener.
