Professional Growing Information I have grown several varieties of petunias including PW Bublegum but this Giant Pink takes the cake. We are at the end of our cul de sac and people ALWAYS compliment them! I made the mistake of buying a special container that I want to showcase... thirty days in the 24 in. container is completely covered in petunias lol

Maintenance Notes:These are heat tolerant plants, that aren't particularly fussy and need little routine maintenance. They will perform best if an application of controlled release fertilizer is included at the time of planting. This applies to both landscape and container plantings. Supertunias are heavy feeders, but a single dose is usually sufficient for landscape beds in most climates. If you have a very long season, a second application of controlled release plant food should be considered for landscape plantings. In general, containers need to be fed more than landscape plants. Supertunias in containers will need to be fed more regularly to be their absolute best. A second application of a controlled release fertilizer can be applied about every two months to container plants, which will help. However, for the very best performance I find regularly applying water soluble fertilizer starting about two months after the containers are planted gives the best results. These extra applications of plant food really makes a difference in performance through the summer.
If your plant begins to look open or a bit tired, an allover trim can be beneficial. Use a sharp pair of scissors or pruning shears to trim back up to 1/3 of the volume of the plant. I pair any trim with a dose of water soluble fertilizer to provide instant energy to help kickstart new growth, branching and flowering. Your plant will take a week to recover from the trim, but the end result is a fuller plant with more blooms going forward. You may repeat the trim as needed through the season.

These pink giants are exactly what they say….giant blooms!!!! I used them in the landscape but wish I had used them in a pot. Would have been greater impact!

LOVE this plant! It's hard to find in most nurseries although I don't know why. I think if they had these out they would sell tons.. What I love about this petunia is the GIANT blooms, all summer........and the color, a beautiful pink. We put these in a planter in the front yard in full sun and most years they are still blooming at Halloween. They spill over a container nicely and also they grew in a compact manner, more of a mound, never leggy or straggly looking. So, I buy these online every year they are a must! Maybe someone at Proven Winners will start recommending these to some nurseries in the Dayton Oh area.

The color is pretty and the blooms are large. Mine are currently in a container. I do find that I want to deadhead the blooms, the expended form is not attractive. Also, the blooms are very fragile, any amount of rain or any wind stronger than a light breeze tends to damage them. Generally, I am pleased. If you live in a place with frequent gusts of wind or rain, probably not an appropriate choice. I think I will focus on the Vista line in the future.

This is by far the most amazing petunia I've ever grown. It makes huge blooms, and a huge plant, with a giant mound of pure color. Almost no green is seen - just bloom! Each plant makes at least a 3' circle of bright pink blooms, and it stays in bloom! Of all the Proven Winners I grow, this is my go- to... my all out favorite. The one I ask for every year, at all my garden centers. I live on a corner, entering my subdivision and this plant makes a splash clearly visible from the streets on each side.

I grew Vista Giant pink a few years ago but could not find a vendor for several years but finally found it this year. Love the color and bloom size. Vista bubblegum is a fave too. It's planted around my mailbox and is huge!
