    • My mother received a "Cosmo Meteor Bronze" crysanthemum in a 9" pot as a gift this past summer. The color was outstanding on her porch which faces west. I love that the buds open in pink and yellow tones. The name doesn't do this plant justice. It was so hardy that it survived being blown off her porch and was left on its side through fall cleanup. I wanted to plant it her border but never got a chance. (Long story) I brought the plant to Cape Cod to live in in my sunroom. Today, December 15, it's bitterly cold and I'm happily snipping off spent buds and pulling out debris like fall leaves that blew into the pot while it languished on the ground in Binghamton. My south facing sunroom is a refuge and the sunset tones of this plant might make all the other plants a bit jealous.
