What is an Idea Board?


The Proven Winners website allows you to save plants to specific digital collections called Idea Boards like pins on Pinterest. There is no limit to the ways you can group and save plants. For example, you can group them by area of your yard/garden, color, sun requirements, type of plant, your favorites, solutions (Low Water Use, Deer Resistant), etc. You can come back to your Idea Boards in the weeks and months to come to reference your ideas and add new ones.

How can I create an Idea Board?


To create your own Idea Board, click the My Ideas link in the green banner at the top of this page (desktop view) or the heart icon in the top right corner (mobile view) to sign in or create an account. If you don’t have a ProvenWinners.com account, you will need to click here to create a new account to get started.

 

 

 

How do I save plants to an
Idea Board?


From there, you will be able to build idea boards under project names or groups, like Front Porch, Pollinator Garden, or My Favorite Hydrangeas by clicking the heart icon in the top right corner of the feature image on a plant page and selecting the Idea Board name below in the pop-up box.

There are many ways you can search for plants to save to your Idea Boards. If you click on an Idea Board you create, you can use the Find Your Plants search box below any saved plants. Use the Advanced Plant Search function to search for plants using a broad range of filters.   

 

 

How do I find my Idea Boards?


You can find your idea boards by clicking the My Ideas link in the green top banner (desktop view) or the heart icon in the top right corner (mobile view) or using the dropdown menu for your account to select My Idea Boards.

 

Can I see other people’s Idea Boards?


Yes! Visit the Recommended Idea Boards page to find Idea Boards created by garden influencers, plant enthusiasts, and Proven Winners staff members. See a plant you love? Save it to your own Idea Board!
