National Plant of the Year Advertising

Reaching 800,000 Consumers

The national campaign consumers will see in gardening magazines this spring season will feature the national combination for the year.  The national combination will also be featured prominently in our Gardener's Idea Book —which is sent to each consumer who responds to our advertising campaign. Last year 800,000 idea books were sent to gardeners throughout the US and Canada, in addition to being shared at gardening presentations, Master Gardener meetings, and at many other gardening events. We plan to share nearly 300,000 copies this year. Be sure to order the plants you’ll need to create the next national recipes for spring. Also check out our national recipes from previous years—that consumers loved.

The National Plants of the Year comprise 10 out of 40 pages of the Gardener's Idea Book
which reaches 800,000 consumers in addition to all the electronic copies requested.

Billboards

Digital billboards allow us to target consumers during the peak gardening season, driving foot traffic to stores at the most critical time of year. Weather-triggered billboard technology allows us to deliver more impressions at apt times when the weather is perfect for planting.
