    • We have grown this gorgeous perennial for the past 3 years now and we love it! It loves full sun, tolerant of our clay like soil here in the Midwest, and grows to every bit of the 36" height (if not more!). Mature plants will come back full and hady but do not spread. The absolutely beautiful and abundant flowers of this plant smell amazing and will attract bees and butterflies to your garden. The leaves have a mild black licorice scent when sniffed or stroked. In late fall we cut back to about 2" above ground and mulch and they do great in our 6a zone. You won't regret this one to add interest and attract pollinators to your garden.
