Great in landscapes and large containers.

Maintenance Notes:

These dahlias were bred to not form tubers, which improves their earliness to perform and container performance.  However, if you do find tubers, they can be stored for replanting in the spring. To dig and store tubers follow these directions. First, allow frost to kill the top of the plant then cut back the stems and dig the tubers. Wash off any soil and then allow the tubers to dry. Wrap dry tubers in newspapers or pack them in peat moss. Label each tuber or group of tubers so you know what they are come spring. Store tubers in a dark, cool (35 to 45 F) place. Do not allow tubers to freeze. Deadheading will encourage additional blooming.

A backdrop of dramatic deep green foliage makes the apricot toned, semi-double flowers of this beauty look especially Dahlightful! Unlike some Dahlias, the Dahlightful series keeps on producing flowers from early through late in the season so you’ll have color longer in the garden. Standing 20-30” tall, they make fantastic thrillers in combination containers and also look great planted en masse in the landscape.

  • I planted this for the first time and it is my new favorite! Easy to grow and the blooms against the dark leaves and stems is such a beautiful contrast. I will buy this plant again next spring. Ordered from the PW website and the plants came very healthy and packed very well.

Outstanding My favorite plant, I recommend to others all the time and explain the reasons why I like it so much.
