I purchased this plant from the Morton Arboretum about 5 years ago. It has never bloomed and it is not bushy or compact. It gets afternoon sun. I think I will prune it drastically now(July) and give it one more year. If it doesn’t bloom, I’m digging it out.

Maintenance Notes:Prune to shape after flowering. This plant flowers on the previous season's growth ('old wood'). Adaptable to most soils but prefers well drained acidic soil. Fertilize with a controlled release shrub fertilizer in spring.
Snow Day Surprise's large white blooms cover this plant in a flood of spring flowers. This is a stronger grower than old fashioned Pearl-bush, with a neater, more compact habit. An excellent plant for the spring landscape!

Bought this plant for my front garden and it never flourished. It receives morning sun till about 3pm then it in shade. I watered on a regular schedule but it never looked great. Very disappointed because I bought it online and its pretty pricey. Next time ill stick to buying only from my local garden stores. I don't recommend this plant to others.
