I think the Supertunia Bordeaux is the best flower I've ever grown. For years I've had a porch garden in New York City, where the summers are not what you think- it's very hot, and recently with frequent heat waves in the 90s. All the Supertunias are fantastically hardy and give you big color reward for little effort. The Bordeaux, however give you a little extra in terms of an unusual color profile that's both unique and incredibly versatile. You wouldnt think this purple would go with everything - but it does! It makes a gorgeous impression by itself in a mass, and as an accent. It's become my go-to flower.
