I purchased a few of your Whirlwind Blue Scaevola to complement some yellow strawflowers. They are awesome. They are totally taking off, they are huge and always blooming. They are absolutely gorgeous and have survived heat, full Kansas sun all day long and several days of severe high winds. We are in a new development so our soil is bad, no time to get much compost in it yet, its really sandy and we have no wind gaurds. These guys have thrived despite all that. I can't even believe how great they look. Even though they are an annual I am going to keep getting them every year. They are my new favorite. - Victoria, Kansas

  • First time buyer this year as blues are hard to find.
Definitely a unique plant but it is slowly growing on me.

One of the sturdiest, strongest plants I have grown. Even the high winds barely faze it.
Not a true blue but a vigorous bloomer and the flowers stay in bloom for nearly a week.

Too early yet to see if more a trailer or mounder but I see it reaching a large size.

Mine needs very little water and has not, at any time so far, shown any signs of wilting.

Looking forward to seeing how this one performs, especially in July/August.

  • Excellent as a partner in a pot of geraniums - add water and they can handle heat!

  • I grow Scavola in hanging baskets on the deck by our pool. This is a south side exposure and very hot location. They just thrive in this location. Really no specific maintenance except plenty of water. I love this plant.
