Planted in spring 2016. Survived first summer in a full-sun location very well. Hot and dry summer, weekly watering were perfect. Although one shrub looks a little weak compared to the others. Love the color, it's a highlight next to the dark green foliage of other plantings.
Anna's Magic Ball™ Arborvitae Thuja occidentalis
- Hardy Zones
- 3 - 7
- Part Sun to Sun
- Mature Size
- 10 - 15 Inches
Evergreen. Dwarf. Yellow foliage.
Prefers deep, well-drained soils. Little pruning is needed, but may be trimmed in early summer.
Dwarf evergreens look great year round, and fill a void in many landscapes. This bright golden evergreen ball is like a yellow 'Danica', but with looser foliage and a more block-like habit. Developed in Canada, it has good burn-resistance and holds its color nicely in winter.
