Love these little shrubs! I have them in part sun. Color looks great all year even though it does get somewhat coppery in the freezing months. When I first bought these they were labeled at growing only about 18” wide. I see they are now labeled to grow much larger and I would agree. I will have to try and trim and shape them to stay smaller since I planted on either side of a walkway.

Within the first year of planting, my dog trampled it, tearing the entire middle section completely off (about less than 2/3 of the plant left). I transplanted it to prevent it from being trampled again and three years later it’s filled in, put on so much growth and is so healthy!

In hindsight would not have these shipped. Plants had extremely small root systems (not even half of the quart pot) and packaging was terrible compared to other plants shippers…there was dirt everywhere and none of the plants were still in pots. If you purchase these I would go through a nursery to guarantee bigger plants and bypass shipping. I have had great luck with Proven Winners, but will not order online again. I emailed all this info to the company and never got a response, which surprised me!

This is an outstanding little thuja! I like to give my plants a few years to grow and get established before I review them. I planted three of these three years ago, and they are doing amazing. I really have grown to love thuja, especially yellow toned ones. I grow many different varieties, but this is one of my absolute favorites. I have clay soil, a very windy yard, and very little rain this year, but these little beauties have taken it like champs.

Planted in spring 2016. Survived first summer in a full-sun location very well. Hot and dry summer, weekly watering were perfect. Although one shrub looks a little weak compared to the others. Love the color, it's a highlight next to the dark green foliage of other plantings.
