    Features

A playful bounce of color for your landscape.

Anna's Magic Ball® arborvitae is a cute little sphere of cheerful yellow foliage. It was developed in Canada, so you know that this little plant isn't bothered by winter weather and holds its color all year-round. This nifty little native evergreen needs no pruning to keep its tight, rounded shape and makes a nice addition to perennial beds, rock gardens, troughs and containers, or any landscape project. It's petite size and well-behaved manner makes it an especially nice choice for smaller yards and gardens.

Top reasons to grow Anna's Magic Ball® arborvitae:

    - Dwarf evergreen needs no pruning

    - Bright yellow foliage adds year-round color to the landscape

    - Native to North America and shade tolerant

    • These are darned hard to keep alive as they take ungodly amounts of water. Four months now and if I miss a day of watering they start to die instantly. NOT worth it! Followed planting instructions perfectly. Bought through Home Depot so was able to return the dead one. Out of seven, only have two originals left. Two replacements were a bit larger than the others and they are doing the best with no dead parts. I think they are shipped too young based on this.

    • Planted in spring 2016. Survived first summer in a full-sun location very well. Hot and dry summer, weekly watering were perfect. Although one shrub looks a little weak compared to the others. Love the color, it's a highlight next to the dark green foliage of other plantings.
