Early Spring through Fall Finish. Standard PPP.
Once, 2 weeks after liner planting. When baskets get large, cut back. Research has shown that Florel applied about 2 weeks after pinching will enhance finish on large containers.
General pest and disease practices as listed in notes. Watch for aphids and white flies. Spray preventatively prior to bloom. Susceptible to pythium, crown or root rots. Plant liners so as to not bury crowns.
-Use a well-drained soil.
-Flirtation is more compact than Flying Colors diascia. Flowers occur on shorter stems, closer to the foliage. Excellent for small pot sizes (4 to 4.5 inch).
Do not allow soil to be saturated for periods of time.
