No pinching recommended. Infinity and Ruffles varieties were bred to branch well without pinching, which would only delay flowering and result in a less balanced plant habit. No growth regulators recommended or needed.

Aggressive scouting and treatment program for thrips is critical for INSV control. Scout for Broad Mites and treat if necessary. Do not use Medallion due to severe PGR effect on New Guinea Impatiens.

Good sanitation practices include keeping greenhouses clean at all times, eliminating weeds and debris, disinfecting equipment in greenhouses as often as possible and keeping hose ends off of the greenhouse floor. Good water management practices are critical for good, healthy plant growth.
