  • Grows quickly and flowers heavily but: branches are awkward. poking out in all directions, sideways and stiff, not graceful. Marketed as not needing deadheading--maybe because it is sterile and won't lead to unwanted seedlings, but the flowers do turn brown and hang on, so I still would deadhead it for appearance sake. I am taking my three out.

  • I planted two of these in my flowere garden three years ago. The first two years they did very well. However, they both died this winter. I am in zone 7b, and this plant is suppose to be hardy in even colder zones. I paid a premium for these "proven winners" plants, and I planted them very carefully. I am very disappointed.

  • Absolutely love this shrub. I have five planted with my daylilies and coneflowers. What a nonstop show, that will continue all of the way into October. The fragrance is wonderful. Am also seeing all kinds of butterflies. I do trim back back in the Spring when I see signs of growth.

Outstanding My favorite plant, I recommend to others all the time and explain the reasons why I like it so much.

  • It performs really well but it is much taller than advertised thus causing me problems where I placed it. Mine are 37-38" tall, not 24-30".

Satisfactory Average performance, met expectations but not outstanding.

  • I grew this last year in a container, and it grew like Topsy! Great plant. I grew it next to Yellow Mesa Gallairdia and the combo was stunning. I live in Denver, and have the Blue Clips in mostly sun. The property has full-sized buddleia, but Blue Clips outperformed them. Wish I had room for more than one.

  • I purchased two of these amazing and delightful little babies! They are absolutely great! Grew (the first year) to their full capacity (30X30X30high); are beautiful plants (I received so many compliments); I had absolutely No problems with them-they are carefree; and I, the butterflies, bees, and hummingbirds loved them. I would recommend this plant to everyone !
