Features

Look Ma, no thorns!

Exceptionally hardy and disease resistant, Oso Happy® Smoothie rose boasts single pink flowers with a white center from early summer through frost. Virtually thornless stems makes it an ideal choice for planting around swimming pools, hot tubs, play areas, and dog runs. Abundant red fruit in fall is perfect for adding to holiday floral arrangements, or leave it in place for the birds to nibble.

Top three reasons to grow Oso Happy® Smoothie rose:

- Low maintenance: disease resistant and not fussy about pruning.

- Flowers non-stop from early summer through frost

- Smooth, thornless stems are a pleasure to work with (and work around!)

Mixed borders. Since it is thornless, Oso Happy Smoothie rose may be planted in areas where typical roses with thorns would not work so well. Try it along walkways and driveways!

Maintenance Notes:

Like all landscape roses, Oso Happy Smoothie needs little special care. In spring, when you see the leaf buds begin to swell, cut it back by about one-third or more - to just above a large, healthy bud. That's it! This plant benefits from mulch and will perform best in full sun (minimum 6 hours daily).

  • I love this rose... it blooms non-stop, in great sprays, and is thornless (yay!!). I have it in a bed of pink roses and perennials, and it just looks great. I'm about to buy some for a client whose garden I'm designing.

Above Average Superior performance, among my favorites, would recommend to others.
