A breakthrough color for Bidens, Campfire Fireburst bears rich orange and yellow bicolor blooms. It can be used in combination with other high vigor plants such as Supertunia® or grown on its own in hanging baskets and landscapes. This is a high light plant that is heat and drought tolerant once established, and can handle a bit of cold in the Autumn months.

  • I grew this plant for the first time this year and when it got hot it did not want to keep up. i was excited because of the color. so maybe i will try again. they were in partial shade west side of a Morton building with the shade of a small lilac bush.

Marginally Adequate Performed below expectations but may be willing to try again.

  • I love Bidens because they are easy to grow and heat, drought resistant. This is a nice addition to the yellow variety that has been around for awhile. Really pretty in person. I was surprised to see the leaf was different though from the yellow.

  • After having had a horrible experience with bidens the year before I was leary of trying these, but the brilliant orange blooms captivated me. One plant was placed in an antique orange lawn seeder, in front of my east facing porch. Another was planted in a steel bucket under a maple, on a south east facing location(part shade). Both thrived and were in full bloom all summer long. They did not get stringy, they were healthy, sturdy and full of blooms. I would definitely purchase these bidens again, and plan to. They provided the perfect rustic look for my country garden. Loved them. - Publisher Alberta Gardener, Ontario Gardener and Manitoba Gardener magazines.

  • Of the annuals I am trailing this year for Proven Winners, this has so far been the standout favourite. It's extremely floriferous, with brilliantly coloured flowers, and the foliage is attractive, too. I normally don't like bidens because I don't like their brassy yellow colour, but this is spectacular. It should be a winner!
