Spring Checklist for Garden Centers


  1. Sign up for Connect+ Marketing service exclusively for our IGC customers that aims to make your life easier while putting the power of the Proven Winners brand to work for your business. (Deadline Beginning of January)
  2. Get signed up for and watch the free Certified training video.
  3. Order or specify Proven Winners plants for your store.
  4. Get listed in the free Proven Winners online retailer locator.
  5. Make sure you have the Proven Winners National Combinations in patio planters, hanging baskets, and in Grande/Classic containers.
  6. Meet with your supplier to determine your plans for Spring - special endcap displays, weekend promotions, sales drivers, etc.
  7. Order POP to build your Proven Winners Destination display.
  8. Mail Proven Winners Gardener's Idea Books to your customer list.
  9. Create a Container Garden Department to drive sales of decorative containers, pre-planted containers, and Grande/Classic containers. (Thriller, Spilller, and Filler POP.)
  10. Order Proven Winners Premium Potting Soil, Plant Foods, AquaPots, Twist 'n Plant and  WaterWise kits to enhance your Proven Winners Destination.
  11. Start a Facebook fan club to interact with your customers.  Upload fresh inventory images throughout the season to drive traffic.
